ACTPHAST funding fully allocated - new ACTPHAST 4.0 programme starts in November 2017
In June 2017, the ACTPHAST technical board approved the final set of innovation projects under its current funding bringing the total number of approved innovation projects to 94 since the start of ACTPHAST in November 2013. The ACTPHAST budget has been fully allocated to these innovation projects, the last of which will be finalised by April 2018.
In the meantime, the follow-on to ACTPHAST - known as ACTPHAST 4.0 - was granted approval by the European Commission under the H2020 call for a Photonics Innovation Incubator for SMEs. ACTPHAST 4.0 will commence on 1st November 2017 with a new 4-year funding cycle supportng the further uptake of cutting-edge photonics technologies amongst European SMEs, particularly non-photonics companies, to drive new revenue and jobs growth in these companies and the wider digitisation of European industry.
